Facebook Like Page Builder Review
By Paul | April 20, 2011
Dave Nicholson has produced many different products in the past but this one has to be his best yet called 'Like Page Builder'.
Like Page Builder is a wonderfully simple tool that allows you to create Facebook 'like' pages in a matter of minutes.
I am going to reveal my thoughts on exactly how well this product does what it claims to do.
First and foremost a like page is pretty much like your own little mini website displayed on Facebook where you can promote yourself and your products to anyone who ‘likes’ your page.
Like Page Builder is a piece of software which allows you to create your very own Facebook ‘like’ page with minimum effort and time. Those of you out there who have already got a ‘like’ page online will know that this can be a very time consuming task. With this piece of software it can be completed in a fraction of the time. All you are required to do is to fill in a few boxes with whatever you want to display on your page and click a few times and you're done. It really is as simple as that.
But! That is not all, you also receive step-by-step videos teaching you exactly how to use the software to its maximum potential. Meaning anyone who can read and write can create their own ‘like’ page, regardless of their skills on a computer. This I believe will be a huge help to those wishing to get on Facebook but don’t really have the skills to create a ‘like’ page themselves. With this software all of the complicated work is done for you, reducing time and effort needed.
Probably the most impressive thing about this software is that it can be used to do something which NO OTHER software can do. It has been cleverly programmed so that as soon as someone hits the ‘Like’ button they are automatically taken to a page of your choice, this could be a page giving away a free gift such as a report. Why is this so ingenious? There is no opt-in involved! The gift is received instantly! All the subscriber must do is click ‘Like’ and then go and read the report or course they have received.
All of these benefits from a simple, easy to use piece of software which costs next to nothing! It appears that Dave has once again released something the Internet Marketing world has never before seen but desperately needs. I wholly endorse this product and for those of you out there who thought you would never be able to create your own Facebook ‘like’ page, think again!
I've arranged for my readers to get a free version here-

Should I Use An Avatar When Posting Blog Comments?
By Paul | April 19, 2011
I was asked an interesting question today by Mark Lee Chairman of TaxAdviceNetwork. He asked why I didn't use an avatar when posting a comment on a blog. Firstly, an avatar or gravatar (not something from Gavin and Stacey ) is the picture that appears next to your name when you make a comment on a blog. It provides you with a more legitimate appearance. In these days of comment spam blog owners tend to be very wary of approving comments and so an avatar can help you get your comment approved
I believed that I had written a high quality post that Mark would have no difficulty in distinguishing from spam comment. I addressed Mark by name and the content of my post was directly relevant to his post. When he clicked on the link to my site he doesn't find the sort of site you see from spammers comments. If you have a wordpress blog of your own you will know what I mean. So if you are a genuine marketer looking at creating great content and backlinks these are some things to consider addressing in your comment posts. Don't forget that you are not restricted to producing great content on your blog . Think of producing great web content with links back to your site.
Incidentally you can view my comment at TaxAdviceNetwork.co.uk. Maybe if Mark has been paying attention he may post a comment here and get a link back himself
I thoroughly recommend Mark's site. It's worth a look if you are into that sort of thing.
The simple answer to the question then is I didn't use an avatar because I didn't have to. I mean, I didn’t use an avatar because I didn’t think I needed to in order to get the comment approved. The content already had sufficient credibility. So, looking at it another way Mark has answered his own question- he approved and published it
I don't spend a lot of time trying to get backlinks from blogs. I only post on those that really interest me and therefore hopefully my posts are quality web content. As long as the blog owner recognises that, the comment gets posted. Frankly I don't get many that aren't and so the need for an avatar is diminished.
If you really want to create an avatar don't be put off by me. There are other benefits of course. For instance it can help in building relationships. Sometimes however, we haven’t got the time to do everything we should or could do – life’s too short. I understand gravatars are quite easy to create at www.gravatar.com. I have no connection with this site so as ever exercise your own due diligence.
Hope this helps.
All the best

Are You a Twit on Twitter?
By Paul | April 4, 2011
Right now there are more than 200 million registered Twitter users, so it is no surprise that there are a few twits in the bunch. For those of you not familiar with what a “Tweeter Twit” it is:
A foolish or annoying person on Twitter or A person not worth following on Twitter
So what are the signs that you are a Twit on Twitter? Glad you asked.
1. You follow less than the 10% of the people who are following you.
2. A blood relative decides to un-follow you – now isn’t that embarrassing?
3. You only tweet to people who have more followers than you have.
4. You have a follower count that is a negative number.
5. You tweet only to the celebrities (you know they’ll never tweet back to you)
6. You never bother to reply to your @replies.
7. You seem to find yourself tweeting your follower count many times.
8. You send an auto direct message that says, “Check out my blog (or website) with a link.
Great now let’s look at how not to be a Twit on Twitter:
1. Be yourself – always be real. Let your personality show, even on company posts. After all, you don’t want your posts to be boring. When your followers can feel your personality, you’ll feel more approachable and that’s good for business.
2. Don’t be argumentative - Not everyone is going to take a shining to you and not everyone is going to like your company. Twitter is a platform that is sometimes used to voice annoyances or how they are dissatisfied with a product or service. How you handle these situations says a lot about you and your business.
3. Don’t just talk listen too – a good tweeter listens to what others are saying, asks questions, and shares information when they can be helpful. With Twitter, you can build a strong customer base if you are there for your customers.
4. Go for quality not quantity when it comes to followers – Some people get too focused on the number of people they follow and even use software that automatically follows anyone who follows them. What you should do is choose those you follow based on interests. You can search by keyword to find individuals or businesses you’d be interested in following.
5. Post meaningful posts – don’t just post to hear the keys clicking. When you post make it something meaningful, something your followers will be interested in. Otherwise, you could find yourself labeled a twit and they will quickly un-follow you.
There you have it – there’s no reason for you to find yourself assigned the nasty label of a twit on Twitter. You have all the help you need to become a well liked tweeter with plenty of followers.

Clickbank Millionaires by Willie Crawford
By Paul | April 4, 2011
Willie Crawford is what people in the Internet Marketing world refer to as a guru. This is a term I'm not really that comfortable with. However, he does claim to have an email list in excess of 1 million subscribers so I suspect that title is appropriate for this gentleman.
I can't vouch for how many subscribers he does have but I am clearly on one of his lists because as I myself recieved an email from him about his $5 "Clickbank Millionaires" ebook. I bought it and you can also for $5
http://www.therealsecrets.com/ClickbankMillionaires/?e=cbsecret
So the first thing I want to address is why did I buy this ebook? Well, first because it was $5, yes $5 only. I consider that I know quite a lot about Internet Marketing but in any profession we never stop learning. If I found just one thing in this book that I didn't know and I could take action that would probably cover the cost of the book many many times over. There are some important lessons which I reveal later in this post so if you're serious about making money online I recommend you read to the end.
This is what Willie said in his email-
"Have you noticed all of the complaints about how some merchants, and some affiliates behave on Clickbank?
It sounds a lot like a bunch of people have banned (sic) together and all agreed to offer you poor quality product (that DOESN'T work) after poor quality product.
It also sounds like maybe they deliberately word their webpages so that you can't even figure out WHAT the product really does!............
I've been around since before there WAS a Clickbank
Here's what you need to know about how some people really make a killing on Clickbank, and how you can best protect yourself:
Grab this report now, and then help to spread the word... please".
http://www.therealsecrets.com/ClickbankMillionaires/?e=cbsecret
Okay so that was enough to persuade me to take a look. So did I learn anything that was more valuable to me than the cost of the book? There is a lot in the book that I knew already but there were a few things I didn't or hadn't thought about. There is no doubt in my mind that this is well written, well presented and informative. For the newly aspiring or intermediate internet marketer the book is easily worth $5. However, there is a much more valuable lesson to learn from this book beyond its contents.
If you are going to be successful as an online marketer you need to start thinking like a successful online marketer. Look at what this guy is doing. Peel back the layers and take a proper look. First question - why is an online millionaire marketer selling an ebook for 5 measly dollars? How has selling ebooks for $5 made this guy hundreds let alone millions?
Even more of an issue is when you buy the ebook you earn the right to sell the very same ebook and keep 100% of the sale. You will be given a link so all money gets paid direct to your paypal account. So he's not even getting the money himself. Willie is using a "RAP" script to do this. This enables his affiliates to sell this product and keep all the proceeds themselves. Win win !
The ebook itself is peppered with links to products in his marketing funnel. They are placed in very appropriate positions.
Willie is letting an army of affiliates go out and sell for him. They are rewarded by receiving all of the proceeds of the low ticket item. He gets a list built for him of buyers. These people are not tyre kickers but have money and are prepared to spend it online. As well as building a list Willie is driving massive amounts of traffic to his higher ticket items.
Purchasing this book and observing the sales process is a lesson in how this should be done. This is the real value of the ebook. If you are interested in earning 100% commissions or in learning how to use the 100% affiliate commission process to maximum effect reading this book is recommended. But don't just read the book study the art of the master marketer at work. Okay I'll call him a "guru":)
To see how this is done or simply to sell the product for your own profit go here-
http://www.therealsecrets.com/ClickbankMillionaires/?e=cbsecret
An alternative to the RAP script ( pretty expensive I think) is the $7 dollar script. You can get a free report "$7 Dollar Secrets" and get a free copy of the $7 dollar script here

Use Your Internet Marketing Skills Locally
By Paul | March 25, 2011

Calling internet marketers. Why not use your skills to help Local Businesses increase their sales Online
Go and help your local business. Do them and yourselves a favour.
Okay, you've made some money online and know the basics of the internet marketing business. Here's a thought: take your skills and help local businesses market their most profitable merchandise, products or services. You can also help them scale up any underused capacity that they want to promote. Best of all, you can plan it so they give you monthly, recurring payments!
Most brick-and-mortar local businesses know their business, but don't know how to market their business effectively. Sure, they do what their competition is doing, but sometimes they don't think outside the box. Its not their fault they just haven't got the time. They are too busy running their business. Most business owners are weighed down working in their business rather than working on their business. This is where You, as an experienced internet marketer, can help them in ways they may never even imagine.
First, you have to realize that what local businesses need is not an education in IM. They need someone to look at what they're doing with fresh eyes and a willingness to listen to them. The worst thing you can do is walk into a small business with a "business in a box" solution. You need to know what the problem is before you offer any solutions. You must ask them the right questions and you must be a really good listener.
Avoid making the same mistake that many new Direct Response Internet Marketing hopefuls make: build a product or service, then check to see if anybody is already buying something like it. Do your market research first. Locate the hungry buyers for advertising and promotion.
Find out who is paying a lot of advertising money in your local area. Approach these businesses first, before you think about helping smaller, less profitable businesses. One easy way to start your market research is to look at Yellow Pages books and business directories. Concentrate on those businesses that have big display ads.
Full-page (or large) display ads cost a lot of money. In fact, the amount is usually so much that they are paid for on a monthly basis.
Small and medium-sized businesses who do this kind of advertising pay thousands of pounds in advertising fees.
Much of this advertising spend is completely wasted. As was famously quoted at least half. The trouble is the small business owner doesn't know which half.
Approach with confidence. Your marketing skills, applied to their business and marketing plan, can really boost their revenue.
Avoid using IM "jargon" when speaking to these businesses. Remember, they know their business. They don't know about autoresponders, split testing, affiliate links, analytics for Web pages, etc.If you are not careful you'll just make what you do seem foreign to them.
Instead, find out what their business and marketing plans are. Help them target their most profitable merchandise, products or services. Find ways to help them improve the marketing of any underused capacity or products they have.
Think of their needs first, before you offer any solution. You'll be more likely to get a new client and get more money every month for helping that client.

Clickbank Affiliates
By Paul | March 25, 2011
Affiliate marketing can be a highly rewarding career. There are very few barriers to entry. Literally anyone can join and make their way to success. Affiliate marketing can be low cost, you can start up with a very small amount of capital. You can have the benefit of working from home and enjoying the freedom and flexibility of working for yourself.
There are also some people who failed in this kind of business. It could be because they lack knowledge and tactics. If you are a web site owner and you want to join in an affiliate marketing business, you should know where to get good affiliate programs.
Clickbank is an ideal place to start. Here, you can find one of the largest affiliate marketing programs in the industry. You just need to visit their site, http://www.clickbank.com and secure a clickbank ID. From the Clickbank’s home page, proceed to “Earn Commissions” and look for the products and services that perfectly fit you and your site. These products are typically ranked according to their popularity.
Clickbank is one of the affiliate networks that serve as a 3rd party between the web merchants and the associated affiliates. It is responsible in providing the technology to deliver the merchant’s offers and campaigns. The affiliate network also do the job of collecting commission fees from the merchant and giving it to the affiliates involved in the program.
Clickbank provides you a large and increasing network of publishers or affiliates to tap into. To be more specific, clickbank has more than 100,000 affiliates who are experts in finding potential customers for your affiliate program. The reason why more and more affiliates are joining Clickbank is obvious – the process of gaining commissions in this network is absolutely fair and transparent.
For web merchants, joining Clickbank is so easy. You just need to sign up in their site for free and allow them to sell your products. Keep up a promotional web site that gives your potential customers detailed information about your offered product or services. At your website, you must also maintain a comprehensive technical support pages for your product. In return, Clickbank will promote and sell your product, give customer service for your product, allow their affiliates to pass on traffic to your web site, enable you to encourage new affiliates to advertise your web site, furnish real-time sales reporting for you and the affiliates and send you and all affiliates a paycheck twice a month.
If you’re a Clickbank affiliate wannabe, you surely won’t find it hard to be a part of this network. First, you are required to place their link on your website and if you don’t have a Clickbank account, you need to complete the Clickbank affiliate form and create your own account. Then, if you already have a Clickbank username, you are free to choose whatever marketing tools you want to use bring in more clicks and generate more sales. After selecting marketing tools, you can now get your affiliate link.
That’s how simple it is to join Clickbank. But beoming a Clickbank super affiliate is not easy. You need to possess the ability to sell lots of affiliate products. You also need to have expertise in search engine optimization, email marketing, newsletter marketing, reciprocal linkage, link exchanges and other methods of promoting your merchant’s goods and services.
Among the secrets to become successful in affiliate marketing is to come up with good content based website and put your affiliate links in all your content. Your main purpose here is to give your visitors good quality content about the things they are interested in. Set aside the job of selling. It must be done by the sales letter page you are transferring them to.
Promote multiple affiliate programs in your website but don’t promote everything the world has to offer. Just choose the affiliate programs that fit your site and focus on it. Then, it is advisable to automate the whole process, giving you more time for other ventures. Automation is another key to become a super affiliate.
Of course, you have to spend more time in reading, learning and taking up the changes in affiliate marketing business. Through this, you’ll remain on top of the trends. If you are knowledgeable about online marketing, you’ll understand how important it is to stay up-to-date. In this kind of business, what worked and what was accepted a few months ago may not work at present. So always see to it that you know what’s new in affiliate marketing everyday.
It’s really hard to be a Clickbank super affiliate, but dismiss the idea out of hand. Bear in mind that in affiliate marketing business, you need to develop persistence, patience and knowledge. These traits will teach you to carry on no matter how tough the job is. Also, check your statistics. This will help you find out what is working and what is not. Make necessary changes if needed but do it one at a time and be patient. Test, test and test.
You are unlikely to achieve overnight success in any venture. It will not happen without some blood, sweat and time commitment. As with most things anything worth achieving requires a good deal of effort.

Make Money Affiliate Blogging
By Paul | March 4, 2011
Affiliate marketing is not for everyone but you might be surprised to learn that there are people who are making a very good living working from home as affiliate marketers. I personally know several individuals who don't just make a good living. They make far more money than that. They also have with it a great lifestyle: no boss, no commute,no daily grind.
There are of course a lot out there blogging for fun.
Not only are there a lot of people out there blogging for fun, many of them are finding ways to make money by blogging. There are a number of ways an income from blogging can be achieved, but one of the most popular is as an affiliate. If you are blogging or considering starting a blog and you are not yet an affiliate, why not take a look further. Otherwise, you are just leaving money on the table that you may not have to.
How about money and fun?
So what is an affiliate program?
An affiliate program is one where the seller offers a part of the money generated by a sale to those who refer customers to them. There are, in fact, a lot of websites out there offerring affiliate programs.
With these companies, you need to sign up. You will, in most cases, be given a unique ID from that affiliate. This ID is for identifying you as the one who has referred the customer to the site and made the sale. If, then, you are successful in helping to sell the product, you receive payment The amount you might get paid will vary depending on many factors such as the company you are working with and their product range.
Once you have made the decision to use an affiliate program and have worked out which one you want to use, then you are ready to get started. Sign up and register for the affiliate program and start adding your affiliate’s codes to your blog. The next issue: how do you include affiliate links? There are a few ways you can do that. First , you could do reviews about a product and then link to that product through your affiliate program (obviously you would need it to be a product offered by your affiliate program). If you don’t want to do a review, you could compile a recommended list as a blog entry or in the sidebar of your blog. A third way to get your affiliate program involved in your blog is to use codes or scripts in your coding that will generate random links to products in your affiliate program.
Once you have your links and your program in place, it much will be about the product. It is important to note that most people are not going to keep reading a website if they think it is merely about trying to sell something. Make sure your content, which you update regularly, is useful to the reader. You want that reader to keep coming back and hopefully working through your affiliates, so you really should concentrate on good, solid, useful content that is going to keep your readers coming back and not make them feel like they are being sold all the time. If, however, you really want to sell, you should try to label your site as a commercial endeavor. Keep those things in mind and your affiliate program will hopefully help you turn a profit.
No matter what your blogging experience may be, it is possible that you can blog for fun and profit at the same time. There are a number of ways to make a profit from your blog, but the most common at present is to affiliate yourself with certain other sites and products. Affiliate programs generally cost little or no money and can help you make money on your own. They are basically a way of getting commission from helping someone sell a product or service. So find the ones that work with the theme of your blog and get those codes up on your site. Once they are up, make sure you are finding ways to drive traffic to them without going overboard on the selling and making sure your content is useful.
Remember people generally hate being sold to but paradoxically they love to buy.Keep the relationship you have with your reader by not trying to oversell to them. Affiliate marketing could work well for you if you can find products that are a good match for your site . Ideally these should be products you use and trust yourself. The type of products you have faith in and would naturally recommend to your friend or family members. The only difference with the affiliate program is you get paid for making the recommendation when someone buys.

E-Mail Messages-Importance of Testing
By Paul | March 4, 2011
I have already posted about how E-mail marketing is an effective way to boost sales and help develop leads. Great too for existing customers and other members of your e-mail database. Create an an effective e-mail marketing campaign takes time if you want to make sure you do it well.
One thing I didn't cover was testing. Testing is vitally important in the marketing world.
There is always room for improvement in everything we do. Here is a good example of the old addage "if it isn't broke don't fix it" can actually be wrong. Just be caredful how you go about fixing.
Testing e-mail messages before sending them out to your full distribution list is a great way to maximize the impact of your e-mail marketing efforts.
What to Test
You should start with the basic e-mail you want to distribute. It should have your core message including promotions, etc. Once you have this core e-mail together you want to make a few variations of it. You can use different images, e-mail subjects, highlighted text, fonts, colors and text.
Try to place things in different places of the e-mail so you can see what placement is most effective when you run your e-mail tests.
Then is also a good time to test different promotions. You will want to see what promotion speaks to your customer base the best. They can include things like a certain percentage off; free shipping; Buy 1 Get 1 Free; Free Gift with Purchase, etc.
After you run your e-mail marketing campaign over a period of time you will already know what promotions work the best and will not generally have to test this aspect much more.
You want to send the e-mail variations to at least 30 to 100 people on your e-mail list. This means you will be sending one of the versions to 30 to 100 people. Do not send multiple versions to the same people.
You will have to monitor the results of the e-mails and see which are the most and least successful. Once you have identified the most successful e-mails you will want to see what is similar about them so you can pinpoint what is working best.
This information should help you make your final e-mail to be distributed to the remainder of your list.
Frequenct of Testing?
You do not have to test every e-mail message you plan to send but you will want to test the most important ones or the e-mail messages that will be the basis your overall Internet marketing strategy.
Take the time to test different e-mail messages and you will benefit with a higher conversion rate which is the key to succeeding with an e-mail marketing campaign.
Growing your business is partly a matter of increasing the rate at which you convert leads into customers and how good you are at maximising sales from each customer. Testing what works best for any of your important processes is a valuable part of increasing your bottom line.

What Is Viral Marketing
By Paul | March 4, 2011
Viral marketing has nothing to do with disease! Think of the way a virus like a cold or flu spreads from person to person. Before you know it the cold has been passed on countless times. One major aim of the internet marketer is to get traffic to his or her site.Going viral is simply having whatever they are trying to promote spread around the web. It sounds horrible but its great really.
Finding or creating the next big viral marketing video probaly won't happen for you.Set your sites a little lower and you might still have big success Your goal should not be trying to come up with the next YouTube sensation.
What about trying a YouTube contest!
The YouTube Contest
A YouTube Contest will enable you to harness the collective creativity of the contestants. If you offer a great prize and promote your contest well you should get a good number of entries.
The contest should be set up so that contestants submit their entries to your website (make sure they do NOT post them on YouTube). This will enable you to check the quality and appropriateness of an entry before it appears on YouTube.
The contest can be the creation of a 30-45 second commercial for your company or a product demonstration. Make the rules to protect your copyright and brands and make sure it is clear that you own all rights to any videos submitted.
After reviewing all the entries choose the finalists (try for a minimum of 12 finalists) and post the videos on your YouTube channel.
The Voting Equals Viral Marketing
Each finalist video will be on your YouTube channel, plus you should create a separate blog entry on your blog for each video. Voting is based on the number of views multiplied by the rating of the video on YouTube plus the number of social bookmarking votes on the blog . Think here, Digg, StumbleUpon, etc.
You are setting up a voting system that will prompt the contestants to market their entry for you. They will send out the video link and ask that their contacts keep forwarding it off to their contact lists and so forth. This is creating 12 viral marketing campaigns or more depending on how many finalists you have.
Maintain the voting period at a couple of months before declaring a winner.
Results
The results need to be some care. Once you have tabulated the votes you should announce the winner or winners and the prize they received.
A YouTube contest is a simple way to create multiple viral marketing opportunities based on the creativity of your contestants. Make sure you market the contest well to maximise the number and quality of entries. The contest becomes a good leverage tool to help you increase your exposure and hopefully your bottom line. That said however, how you convert is another story.Good luck.

What Is E-Mail Marketing
By Paul | March 4, 2011
Do you remember the great Monty Python sketch about "spam"?
Spam,spam,spam,spam ,spam !
Well sorry to disappoint but this post has nothing to do with spam. Effective e mail marketing is involves building a targetted relationship based on trust for the benefit of both parties to the relationship. It is very misunderstood .
Nothing ever stays still in the fast paste changing world of the internet marketer.Even the most enduring forms of Internet marketing change over time. A prime example is e-mail marketing. I will cover today some basics of email marketing. Watch out though for SMS messaging and the changes that advances in mobile technology will surely bring.
Once loved by online marketers, e-mail marketing became less popular as more people feared spam guards and blockers. However, e-mail marketing can still be a powerful and viable way to market.
The Basics
E-mail marketing is the best way to stay in contact with existing customers or potential customers. Your potential customer list should be people who specifically requested e-mails from you (do not buy e-mail lists or spam people).
The two key components to successful e-mail marketing are growing your list and staying in contact with your list.
Growing Your List
Growing your e-mail marketing list is essential. You do this is by offering people who visit your site something of value in exchange for their e-mail. There are a number of things you can consider, here are just a few:
- A coupon code or discount code
- Pre-sales event information
- A free trial offer
- A complimentary evaluation
- Free software or other downloadable files
- A whitepaper or report
It is also important to let people know that you will not sell their information or give it to anyone else. You should treat your e-mail list like gold because if you handle it properly it can be like gold.
Contacting Your List
It is important to stay in contact with your e-mail list. It is also important that you do not go overboard with that. If you overuse your e-mail database they will start to remove themselves from your distribution list.
The frequency you contact your e-mail list will depend on your business. For example, an estate agent knows there is a window of opportunity to get a buyer. That window of opportunity may be only a couple of weeks so daily contact is appropriate. A clothes retailer has a much larger window of opportunity in fact the window never closes. Daily contact would be too much, weekly or bi-weekly contact is more appropriate.
Make sure your e-mails are different every time. Do not rehash the same information or promotions or you will turn off your e-mail list. If you keep these rules in mind, you can engage in effective e-mail marketing as part of your overall Internet marketing.Avoid been considered as a spammer by implementing a professional autoresponder sequence and mailshot campaign designed to enhance the recipients experience in dealing with you and your business.Look after your customers and the money tends to follow.

3 basics for WordPress Seo
By Paul | March 2, 2011
For my first blog post on this domain I thought it would be good to cover some of the basics of WordPress as far as SEO is concerned.
Many people love WordPress as a platform, myself included.
There is no doubt WordPress is a powerful platform for developing blogs and can also be used effectively as as a content management system.

Here I identify 3 things to improve your on-page optimization.
My top 3 are as follows:
1.Permalinks
The Permalink framework controls how WordPress dynamically creates the url in your Pages and Posts. The default is not that great.
Suppose you publish a Page called "About" By default, the generated url would appear something like: YourDomain.com/?p=5
Notice the "?p=5" portion after the main domain name?
That portion is called the "Permalink" and is also generated dynamically by WordPress as soon as you publish the Page. The "?p=2" is pretty ugly to human visitors and does not tell the search engines anything about the on-page content.
Although you can find numerous Permalink construction options, I prefer making use of the customized "/%category%/%postname%/" framework.
After generating this change, the "About " Page would now get a web page url construction like this: YourDomain.com/about
This helps make more sense for readers and will improve the relevance for that keyword phrases contained inside your Post/Page titles.
Have a look in the title bar of this post. There is a full description based on the keyword category and post title

2.Enhancing Your On Page Search engine optimization
One of the most well-known Seo Plugin for WordPress is probably the "All In One Search engine optimization Pack," by Michael Torbert.
Installing provides you with a number of benefits such as:
• The ability to control the "meta title" for your homepage and for each Page/Post you generate.
• Control the "meta page description" for your homepage and for each and every Page/Post you generate.
• Control the "meta keywords" for the homepage and for every single Page/Post you create
3.Web-site Overall performance improvers
The "WP Super Cache" plugin, by Donncha, supports a quicker page load for customers and search engine robots.
How this works is a litte technical but I'll do my best to explain-
As opposed to presenting the dynamic WordPress pages the plugin generates static html files. After it generates the files, your webserver will serve these files instead of the WordPress PHP scripts (that are heavier and slower loading).
As this criteria now appears to play a part in the search engine algorithm, you enhance your capacity to rank in the SERPs.
Hope this helps. This blog is still very much at the development stage. When you come back I hope you will see more of the above implemented.
